Contaqt - Email Marketing Solution

Contaqt.nl is a comprehensive email marketing platform designed to streamline the creation, distribution, and tracking of email campaigns. The platform allows businesses to engage with their customers through well-designed newsletters and automated email flows. It offers features such as email design templates, detailed analytics on email performance, and integrations with other software to enhance marketing efficiency.

During my tenure on the Contaqt.nl project, I significantly contributed to the development of version 2 of the platform. My most notable achievement was enabling the platform to send millions of emails per day. Initially, the platform struggled with handling large volumes of emails. To address this, I introduced Advanced Message Queuing Protocol (AMQP) and RabbitMQ, which allowed the system to scale from sending thousands to millions of emails daily. Additionally, I developed the email flow system to track email opens, link clicks, and perform actions based on user interactions.

The email flow system he built provides valuable insights into customer interactions, allowing us to optimize our campaigns effectively.

The success of Contaqt.nl’s enhanced email capabilities relied on a robust technological foundation. The implementation of AMQP and RabbitMQ ensured efficient message handling and queuing, enabling the platform to manage high email volumes seamlessly. The email flow system was built to integrate with existing analytics tools, providing real-time tracking and reporting. These enhancements were deployed on a scalable cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and reliability for users.
