Game based Quiz - Realtime web app

The game-based quiz platform I developed is similar to Kahoot.com, designed to facilitate interactive learning and engagement through real-time quizzes. The platform allows multiple students to join a quiz session simultaneously, answer questions, and receive immediate feedback. It aims to enhance the educational experience by incorporating elements of gamification, making learning fun and competitive.

In this project, I was responsible for creating the main quiz engine that supports real-time participation from multiple students. I designed and implemented the system to handle simultaneous connections efficiently, ensuring smooth and responsive interactions during quiz sessions. This involved developing a robust backend that manages real-time data transfer and synchronizes quiz progress across all participants. By leveraging WebSockets for real-time communication, I ensured that students could answer questions and see updates instantly.

The platform was built using modern web technologies to ensure scalability and performance. I used Node.js for the backend to handle asynchronous operations and manage multiple connections effectively. The front-end was developed using React.js to create a dynamic and responsive user interface. For real-time communication, WebSockets were implemented to maintain a persistent connection between the server and clients, allowing for instant updates and interactions. The application was deployed on AWS to take advantage of its scalable infrastructure, ensuring that the platform could handle high traffic volumes without performance degradation.
